Ethan didn't have a good night for some reaosn.  Every time someone looked at him this morning he would start crying.  I asked him if he wanted cereal for breakfast, no no no no!  Pancakes, no no no.  Eggs? no no no.  All of this is said through tears and hiccups.  I don't know if he had bad dreams or what. 

He finally decided on left over pizza and bbque wings from last nights dinner.  I warmed up the leftovers for both Ethan and Emma and started making Harley's oatmeal.  When it was ready Ethan sat right down and started eating his first bbque wing.  Emma just sat there, I think trying to wake up because I woke them up early so we could run a couple errands early. 

Ethan's second bbque wing slipped out of his hands and our black lab, Pongo, snapped it up and ate it before anyone could stop him.  This brought on more aligator tears and cries for his bbque wing.  I was barely awake so my patience was already thin.  Emma was awake by then because she got up and gave Ethan one of her wings, which only left her one.  I finally got Ethan calmed down and then asked Emma why she gave him one of her wings. 

Because mom, he wanted it more than I did and if it will make him feel better than he can have all my food and I will have something else.

For some reason this made me so proud of her.  They are finally acting like typical siblings and fighting, teasing each other, picking on each other, just being down right mean sometimes.  This act showed me the little sister that Emma used to be, always helping her big brother and never being mean to him.  Well, except when she wanted the toy he was playing with.  Then she would take it away from him and hit him over the head with it. 

At least she didn't hit Ethan over the head with the bbque wing.
